The British Pakistani Lawyers’ Association (BPLA) was launched in October 2011 to promote and strengthen ties between the legal profession in the United Kingdom and the legal profession in Pakistan. It aims to provide a forum for the discussion of issues of mutual interest and concern, and for the development of professional and personal relations between members of the profession in both countries.

"We are starting with this fundamental principle that we are all citizens and equal citizens of one State"
